By using art as the centerpiece with a balance between history and creativity, Melaka is home to a wealth of murals that painted on the historical buildings along Melaka River and some laneways of Chinatown.

The walls have been a hit with tourists and Malaysians who enjoy posing for pictures with the murals as the backdrop. You can use the river as a guide and hunt down all the murals outside the old town. Let’s get onto the journey of hunting murals~

Kiehl’s Mural, a large colourful mural in Jonker Street that created by an American cosmetic brand named Kiehl’s to show their support in preserving heritage in conjunction with the celebration of the 5 UNESCO Heritage sites in Malaysia.

The beautiful mural is an abstract splash of colours artwork by local street artist Fritilldea.

The Orangutan House Mural painted by popular local artist Charles Cham on the Orangutan House’s outer wall at Jonker Street, where his gallery located.
