Malaysia Convention & Exhibition Bureau (MyCEB) is honoured to announce that the Asian Wound Care Association & 3rd Global Wound Conference 2021 is on its way to Malaysia.
With the mission to improve wound care standard for patients, healthcare professional performance and facilitate regional and international access in all health care systems, MyCEB expresses its support for the world class conference that is to be held at Sunway Pyramid Convention Centre from 15 – 17 October 2021. This conference is another significant bid win for Malaysia as we anticipate to welcome approximately 500 local and international delegates for the conference, with an estimated RM5.26 million in economic impact.
The prestigious healthcare event that is organised by Asian Wound Care Association, brought in by Malaysian Society of Wound Care Professionals aim to provide a discussion platform for all healthcare professionals in sharing their knowledge and expertise on the best practices in wound care management. Malaysia has earned the reputation as a conference hotspot due to its world-class facilities. Hosting another medical conference in Malaysia is undoubtedly exceptional to mark the country’s advancement and create a notable legacy for Malaysia.
The Founding President of Malaysian Society of Wound Care Professionals, Professor Dr Harikrishna K. R. Nair expressed “When wound care becomes increasingly important, I believe hosting this conference in Malaysia will provide a great learning opportunity for the health care professionals in this region in interdisciplinary team approaches that deliver best practices for improved patient outcomes and disseminate educational and training toolkits created in practical, relevant and adaptable formats.”
“After successfully hosted this conference, our next aim is to work together with MyCEB to secure the future edition of World Wound Healing Congress, which is the Olympic kind of event in our field to our shore,” he added.
