Sabah Tourism Board kicks off the World Travel Market with two Memorandum of Collaboration.
STB signed a Memorandum of Collaboration (“MoC”) with the national carrier Malaysia Airlines Berhad (“MAB”). The MoC aims to develop joint promotional activities for the inflow of tourists from London into Borneo.
Sabah Tourism Board also signed a Memorandum of Collaboration with Shangri-La Group to promote the two luxury resorts in Borneo as the top holiday destination for the UK market.
For an additional pull, Sabah Tourism Board also awarded three lucky winners each a two thousand GBP voucher. The vouchers can only be utilized for a joint marketing collaboration for Sabah. The lucky draw was held during the WTM Network Dinner. With the theme “An Evening with Enchanting Sabah”, Sabah Tourism Board hosted about 40 attendees, which consisted of travel agents, media, and airline representatives at DoubleTree by Hilton London Marble Arch.
The travel agents are working hard, and we hope that this can by some means is of assistance for them when planning their marketing strategy, added Noredah.
