From Sabah to the World – BIGSABAH Sale 2025 Expands as a Regional Marketplace

The countdown has begun for BIGSABAH Sale 2025, which will take place from 31 October to 2 November 2025 at the Sabah International Convention Centre (SICC).

Now entering its third year, the event has evolved from a local showcase into a regional platform connecting Sabah with ASEAN and the wider Asia Pacific markets. With over 600 exhibitors across 23,000 square metres, BIGSABAH Sale 2025 marks the largest exhibition ever hosted at SICC, positioning Sabah as a strategic hub for cross-border trade and consumer engagement.

International participation has grown significantly, with representation from nine countries including Thailand, the Philippines, Indonesia, Brunei, China, Taiwan, Hong Kong, South Korea, Singapore, and India. Organisers anticipate over 50,000 visitors across the three-day fair, a figure expected to be surpassed with strong industry partnerships and diverse programme offerings.

Organised under the theme “Across Markets, Beyond Borders”, this year’s edition aims to reinforce Sabah’s position as a gateway to the East ASEAN Growth Area (BIMP-EAGA) and a dynamic connector for regional commerce and cultural exchange.

BIGSABAH Sale 2025 - Key Highlights

1. BIGSABAH Sale – Gourmet, Décor & Home Living (Level 2) and Fashion & Lifestyle (Level 4)

Two exhibition floors will transform into vibrant marketplaces. Level 2 highlights gourmet products, décor, and home living essentials, while Level 4 showcases fashion, lifestyle, and beauty – bringing together local designers, international brands, and lifestyle innovators.

2. BIGSABAH Trade Connect

A dedicated B2B networking and matchmaking platform linking local and international SMEs with buyers, distributors, and importers. Curated meetings and trade dialogues will advance cross-border collaboration and market expansion.

3. BIGSABAH TAMU

Inspired by Sabah’s traditional marketplace, this section offers a grassroots-driven platform where rural entrepreneurs, farmers, and artisans showcase authentic local produce, crafts, and delicacies.

4. Pesta Makan Buah-Buahan Sabah

In partnership with FAMA, this fruit festival celebrates Sabah’s agricultural diversity with seasonal and indigenous varieties in a festive showcase that supports farmers and promotes healthy living.

5. Sabah Agro-Fisheries Forum

A professional forum bringing together industry leaders, researchers, and policymakers from ASEAN to address innovation, sustainability, and trade opportunities in agriculture and fisheries.

6. Women in Business & Style

A signature programme celebrating women entrepreneurs and creative leaders, featuring exhibitions, fashion showcases, and dialogue sessions that empower women in commerce and innovation.
