The Malaysian Association of Hotels (MAH) today commended the successful staging of Filoxenia Sdn Bhd’s inaugural “Driving Hospitality to the Next Level: Next-Gen Digital Marketing & AI” forum at the Concorde Hotel Kuala Lumpur, which brought together hospitality leaders, technology platforms, and sustainability experts to accelerate industry readiness ahead of Visit Malaysia Year 2026.
The half-day forum featured a dynamic agenda that explored how digital marketing and artificial intelligence (AI) are reshaping the guest journey and hotel bookings, complemented by critical discussions on sustainability and human capital.
The event featured insights from leading voices such as Hannah Pearson, Founding Partner of Pear Anderson, who shared her outlook on market trends for 2025 and 2026; Chris Cheong, Director Digital Strategies at Filoxenia; and Kingston Khoo, CEO of Eco-Steps, who led the sustainability discussion. Panel sessions also saw contributions from global and regional platforms including Lighthouse, Shiji, PayPal, emarketingeye, Rev-Logix, and Ascott International Management Malaysia.
Sponsors STAAH, Lighthouse, Shiji, PayPal, and emarketingeye further enriched the forum by demonstrating practical applications of their platforms that are revolutionising hotel operations and enhancing guest engagement.
The Malaysian Association of Hotels recognises Filoxenia’s efforts in initiating this important knowledge-sharing platform and looks forward to more collaborations that will benefit the hospitality industry.
As part of the event’s corporate social responsibility efforts, support was extended to Yayasan Sunbeams Home (YSH) to aid underprivileged children with shelter, education, and medical care; underscoring the industry’s role in contributing to the community while driving business growth.
The forum’s success reflects the industry’s collective commitment to digital transformation, sustainable practices, and innovation, aligning with national priorities to ensure Malaysia remains a preferred global tourism destination.
