Tiger Beer ushered in the Chinese New Year (CNY) celebrations with the return of Tiger Town, a multi-day, multi-city experiential festival that has expanded beyond Kuala Lumpur to include Penang. Now in its second year, Tiger Town reflects the brand’s bold 敢敢冲 (Dare to Charge Forward) spirit, delivering an immersive celebration that blends live entertainment, interactive experiences, and local culture.
The 2026 edition of Tiger Town officially launched last night at LaLaport Bukit Bintang City Centre, transforming the venue into a high-energy festival hub. The Kuala Lumpur leg runs until 25 January 2026, before the experience moves north to Gurney Paragon Mall, George Town, Penang, from 13 to 15 February 2026.

The launch ceremony marked the opening of the festival with a symbolic celebration. Members of HEINEKEN Malaysia’s management team officiated the event by striking a ceremonial gong, followed by a vibrant display of Tiger rockets and firecrackers—offering a contemporary interpretation of traditional festive rituals. The evening culminated in a powerful lion performance, symbolising blessings of energy and good fortune for the year ahead.
Reimagining the traditional Chinese New Year gathering, Tiger Town presents a dynamic and immersive environment that brings together live music performances, interactive challenges, and a curated local market within a single festive space.

Live performances form the heartbeat of Tiger Town. In Kuala Lumpur, festivalgoers are treated to high-energy performances by popular acts such as 3P, festive favourite Chang Yong, and the charismatic Joe Chang, complemented by specially curated sets from An Livehouse. The lineup blends contemporary performance with familiar anthems, creating a spirited soundtrack that embodies the momentum of the new year.
Beyond the main stage, Tiger Town features a series of themed, squad-based games inspired by the brand’s 敢敢冲 (Dare to Charge Forward) ethos. Designed to test coordination, speed, reflexes, and teamwork, these interactive challenges encourage friendly competition and collective participation among attendees.

Developed in collaboration with Lesgo Market, the curated market encircles the main stage and showcases local makers and eateries. Reflecting Tiger Beer’s commitment to grassroots creativity and local craftsmanship, the market adds depth to the festival experience while reinforcing a strong sense of community.
Tiger Town also introduces the exclusive Tiger x atmos: Spirit of the Tiger collection. Created in collaboration with the Tokyo-based streetwear label atmos, the collection fuses traditional Japanese calligraphy with bold graphic storytelling inspired by the raw energy of Asian street culture. Translating the 敢敢冲 (Dare to Charge Forward) spirit into street-ready fashion, the collection is available at selected atmos retail stores as well as online.
Tiger Town is about starting the year with courage. Chinese New Year is a time for coming together, and Tiger Town brings that spirit to life through music, games and shared moments, with Tiger Beer enjoyed as part of the celebration. ~ Julie Kuan, Marketing Manager of Tiger Beer Malaysia
