Sabah is charting a bold course toward a new era of coastal and tourism excellence with the signing of a landmark agreement between D’Heritage Sdn. Bhd., a subsidiary of Innoprise Corporation Sdn. Bhd., and Nomad Hospitality Group to develop the Ship Hotel and City Marina Project at the Sabah International Convention Centre (SICC) Jetty.
Valued at RM130 million, this visionary development will redefine Kota Kinabalu’s waterfront, marking the first project of its kind in East Asia and the second in Asia after Dubai.
The Ship Hotel will be permanently docked at the SICC Jetty, featuring 216 guest rooms, world-class dining venues, leisure and wellness facilities, and an auditorium. Complementing this is the creation of a vibrant City Marina and upgraded jetty infrastructure — a transformative step that will elevate Sabah’s standing as a leading coastal destination in the region.
Beyond serving as a new landmark attraction, the Ship Hotel and City Marina are expected to generate employment opportunities, enhance tourism growth, and create new prospects for local enterprises. This project will further strengthen SICC’s position as a premier destination for Business Events while reinforcing Sabah’s commitment to sustainable, high-impact developments that celebrate the state’s natural beauty and world-class hospitality.
