Presented at the Grand Final Gala Ceremony in Bahrain on 6 December, these international recognitions mark a historic milestone for MITEC and reinforce Malaysia’s fast-rising stature as a global powerhouse in the business events industry. The awards were received on behalf of MITEC by Mr Badrul Hisham Hilal, Trade Commissioner of Malaysia External Trade Development Corporation (MATRADE), underscoring the venue’s critical role in promoting Malaysia’s trade, tourism, and international connectivity.

These included The 57th ASEAN Economic Ministers’ (AEM) Meeting, ASEAN Business Advisory Council (ASEAN-BAC) Summit, MIHAS 2025, Achidex 2025, Absolut Bazaar X Gaya Raya, MATTA Fair, Mega Karnival 3 Dimensi, the Malaysia International Furniture Fair and the National Human Capital Conference (NHCCE 2025).
