Adventure Zone
Designed for kids of all ages, Adventure Zone is a unique family entertainment venue that is one of a kind in Malaysia. Children staying at the resort are especially in for a treat with the Adventure Zone, the largest dry indoor playground for children in Penang.
The 10,300 square feet air-conditioned indoor facility is split into two levels, housing three categories of exciting drop slides and multiple sections consisting 957 square metres of modular play equipment. The main highlight is the drop slides, namely the toddler-friendly Hyperglide Astra Slide, the Double Drop Slide for young children and the Demon Drop Slide which is a 26 foot vertical drop for the brave ones, which have proven to be extremely safe and offer a high level of enjoyment for both children and adults.

Cool Zone Kids Club

Located on the Mezzanine Level of Adventure Zone, Cool Zone Kids Club is complimentary to all in-house Golden Sands Resort and Rasa Sayang Resort and Spa guests aged from 5 to 12 years old. The club operates daily from 9:30am to 9:00pm to keep the kids entertained by offering fun-filled activities such as photo frame decorating, t-shirt painting, lantern marking, paper bag creations, pool games, visits to the Eco Centre, movies, newspaper craft, mask creation, snake show and sand sculpture. Activities like sand art, batik painting and t-shirt painting are chargeable while the rest of the activities are complimentary. Complimentary lunch and dinner are also provided for all children. Activities are subject to change without prior notice due to weather conditions or other factors.
Splash Zone
Measuring 200 square metres, the Splash Zone is the latest attraction of the resort, offering children fun-packed adventure under the sun and complements the existing all-time favourite, Adventure Zone. Located between the two big pools, it combines the sensation of water movements and interactive play elements in a safe “zero depth” water play area. The mini water park with a non-slip flooring is constructed on a concrete slab with twisting roots fitted with water jets and mists shooting out in different patterns and directions. Children will have an exhilarating time, with thrills and spills galore, all year round. The Splash Zone features whimsical sculptures, water slides (one of which is 30 metres long) with a landing pool, tipping water bucket and cones, water sprays in the shape of dolphins, butterflies, turtles, monkeys and squirrel, to guarantee endless fun for young guests.
The Splash Zone is the first of its kind in Penang that employs a special technologically advanced water management system that keeps water in its natural condition, making it suitable for all children.
