The stage is set, and the spotlight is ready to shine on an extraordinary spectacle of culture, art and acrobatics as Yong Tai Berhad, in collaboration with Guangxi Cultural Group, proudly presents The Bountiful Harvest of BAIYUE, a spectacular show by the finest acrobats. This awe-inspiring acrobatic show, commemorating the 50^th Anniversary of Malaysia-China Diplomatic Relations and the 10^th Anniversary of the China Comprehensive Strategic Partnership (CSP), is set to captivate audiences with its unique blend of artistic expression, traditional elements, and ecological folk charm.

In line with our preparations for Visit Melaka Year 2024, the upcoming “The Bountiful Harvest of BAIYUE” performance holds special significance, as it beautifully promotes art, culture, and tourism. And through this collaboration, we are honoured to be a part to commemorate this significant milestone of the diplomatic relations that further strengthens the bonds between our two nations through the universal language of art and culture. Further to that, “The Bountiful Harvest of BAIYUE”, is not only a celebration of art and culture but also a significant event in conjunction with the 10th Anniversary of Malaysia & China Comprehensive Strategic Partnership (CSP) this year,” added Dato Leong.

In collaboration with Guangxi Cultural Group, we jointly promote the development of stage arts, enriching the presentation forms of traditional performances and fervently advocate for the promotion of folk arts, breathing new life into the timeless heritage of our cultures.

BAIYUE Inamori is the heart of this captivating performance, aiming to infuse the essence of life and labour. Drawing inspiration from the daily routines of different cultures, the show masterfully exaggerates, deforms, and simplifies common production and living tools into mesmerising artistic props. This artistic approach creates a space for unlimited creativity in acrobatics, bringing together the traditional elements of various nationalities and showcasing the diversity of Guangxi Dance elements and original ecological folk songs.

In this spectacular show, Guangxi acrobatics takes centre stage, showcasing innovation and ingenuity. The mesmerising brilliance of Guangxi acrobatics skillfully integrates creative farm tools and unique props that embody the essence of handicraft art. The Bountiful Harvest of BAIYUE aims to captivate the audiences with breathtaking acrobatics displays, enthralling visuals and an enchanting soundscape, leaving audiences in awe of the performers’ skill and precision.
