The Malaysia Convention & Exhibition Bureau (MyCEB) is proud to announce the launch of its MyTripleE 2.0 Campaign at IBTM World Barcelona, a key international platform for business events. This marks a pivotal moment for MyCEB as it returns to the event for the 9th consecutive year, showcasing Malaysia’s capabilities and the dynamic future of its business events sector. The event, held from 19 – 21 November 2024 at Fira Barcelona Gran Via, provides a crucial opportunity to introduce the new MyTripleE 2.0 initiative to the global business events community.
The MyTripleE 2.0 Campaign is built upon the success of the original MyTripleE campaign, evolving to better serve both regional and international markets. It focuses on supporting qualified stakeholders through both financial and non-financial assistance, aiming to elevate the business events industry in Malaysia by strengthening the sector’s infrastructure, fostering innovation, and promoting sustainable practices.
“As part of the MyTripleE 2.0 Campaign, we aim to inspire a shift in how business events are held, with an emphasis on sustainability and inclusivity,” said Mr. Azlan. “We believe this campaign will empower our stakeholders to create impactful, transformative events that align with global industry trends, ultimately driving economic growth and positioning Malaysia as a global leader in business events.”
In addition to the MyTripleE 2.0 launch, MyCEB’s participation at IBTM World also includes valuable networking opportunities with over 12,000 attendees and 2,650 hosted buyers from across the globe. Malaysia’s strategically positioned pavilion at IBTM World is designed to facilitate one-on-one appointments, enabling MyCEB and its partners to expand their global reach and forge new partnerships.
MyCEB’s presence at IBTM World also highlights its long-standing commitment to the business events industry. Since its founding in 2011, MyCEB has supported over 2,400 business events, contributing approximately RM14.7 billion to the economy. Despite challenges posed by the COVID-19 pandemic, MyCEB continued its mission, facilitating 497 business events between 2020 and 2023, attracting 1.2 million delegates and generating RM4.9 billion in economic impact.
MyCEB is joined by eight premier co-exhibitors at IBTM World, including:
- Kuala Lumpur Convention Centre (KLCC)
- Malaysia International Trade and Exhibition Centre (MITEC)
- Borneo Convention Centre Kuching (BCCK)
- Malayan Safaris
- Penang Convention & Exhibition Bureau (PCEB)
- Mandarin Oriental Kuala Lumpur
- Amari Spice Penang

Together, MyCEB and its partners aim to continue driving growth, foster innovation, and create sustainable, impactful business events that shape the future of the global industry. The launch of MyTripleE 2.0 marks the next chapter in Malaysia’s journey to becoming the preferred destination for global business events.
