BE in SABAH 2026, an international Business Events forum jointly organised by the MACEOS Sabah Chapter and the Sabah International Convention Centre (SICC), has surpassed its initial participation benchmark, reflecting growing confidence and strong engagement from the global Business Events community, with one week remaining before the forum takes place.
As of the latest update, the forum has recorded 877 registered participants, exceeding its original target of 800 delegates. Participation now spans 32 countries across five continents, alongside representation from eight Malaysian states, underscoring the forum’s expanding international and domestic reach.

The event has also confirmed 33 speakers, moderators and panellists, comprising senior industry leaders and practitioners from across the Business Events ecosystem.
Participants are represented from Asia, Europe, the Americas, Oceania and Africa, reinforcing Sabah’s emerging position as a destination of choice for Business Events in the region.
Commenting on the milestone, Datuk Dr. Hajah Rosmawati Haji Lasuki J.P, Organising Chairperson of BE in SABAH 2026, said the strong turnout reflects both industry confidence and collective commitment.
Datuk Dr. Rosmawati also expressed appreciation to members of the Malaysian Association of Convention and Exhibition Organisers and Suppliers (MACEOS), with special acknowledgement to the Sabah Chapter, for their steadfast support and active participation in driving registrations.
She further thanked local and international strategic partners for their dedication and collaboration, which have contributed significantly to the forum’s broad international representation and global profile.
