Murals along Melaka River, a colourful sight along the Melaka River, which is an initiative by the state government in February 2010 named Melaka River Art Project (ProjekARM), involving 9 teams of artists to beautify a row of historical buildings along the river in Jalan Kampung Hulu.
From time to time, the row of historical buildings will be repaint with new vibrant murals to continue showcase Melaka creatively as a great historic city, as well as giving facelifts to the old warehouse buildings.
To enjoy an uninterrupted view of the creative murals that flank along the river, you can take a relaxing cruise with Melaka River Cruise or walking on the public path along both sides of the river.
The colourful and vibrant murals along the river reflect a unique insight into various aspects of Melakan life, from its multiracial community and cultural activities, to its abundant local delicacies, making it as one of the favourite insta-worthy spots.
