Situated beneath KL Tower, one of the famous landmarks in Malaysia, KL Tower Mini Zoo (KLTMZ) is carefully planned and specially designed with a jungle concept to create a nature feel environment in the middle of the bustling city.
It acts as a platform for people from all walks of life and ages to get as close as possible to nature and animals in a safe and secured condition to observe and have a close interaction with the animals directly instead of watching and learning from TV and books.
KLTMZ is an ideal destination for those who would like to be close up with more than 50 species animals ranging from native species to the exotic animals, as well as for families outing, where children can learn while having fun and the parents can enjoy the relaxing moments with their beloved. In order to create a green society towards nature and its living, the mini zoo provides an opportunity for visitors to gain the unforgettable close up experience with a chance to feed, pet the animals with those fascinating, beautiful, unique creatures available.
With the coverage area of about 2 acres, KLTMZ divided into several stations, including the Mini Jungle, Falabella Stable, Happy Farm Village, Birdy School, Longkang Fishing, Pet Village and Jungle View and Forest Walk.
At the entrance, you will be welcomed by lovely animals in the Mini Jungle, such as different species of parrots, ferret and Sulcata tortoise. The show stars Timon, a meerkat, character from the Disney animated film The Lion King will greet you at this station!
Have you experienced catching fish in the drain especially in urban area? Here, it will bring back your childhood’s memories, while having wonderful fun time with the Longkang Fishing, a traditional Malaysian children activity of dredging fish in the drain. In the Pet Village, you can have fun by feeding cuddly rabbits and guinea pigs with fresh vegetables.
After a long tour, you can sit back and relax at the Look Out Point, which is a cosy place surrounded by the forest within the city and lovely animals. You can also observe the adorable furry Alpacas from this resting point.
