SJM Resorts, S.A. (SJM) recently supported the Macao Government Tourism Office’s (MGTO) initiatives by participating in the “Macao Tourism + MICE Product Updates Seminar & Travel Mart” on 4th July 2024. SJM engaged with local industry leaders, laying groundwork for future collaborations. Following this, SJM joined the four-day “Experience Macao Malaysia Roadshow” from 5 to 8 July 2024 at Blue Concourse, Sunway Pyramid Shopping Mall in Kuala Lumpur, introducing Macau’s latest “Tourism+” attractions to Malaysian travel professionals, residents, and tourists. The event highlighted the “Embracing the SAMmer Holiday @ SJM Resorts” promotion, showcasing gourmet dining, edutainment, and luxurious resort experiences.
The roadshow’s opening ceremony featured Guests of Honour including Mr. Cheng Wai Tong, Deputy Director of MGTO, Mr. Manoharan Periasamy, Director General of Tourism Malaysia, Mr. Nigel Wong Chun Teim, President of Malaysian Association of Tour and Travel Agents (MATTA), Ms. Cynthia Tan, Deputy President of Malaysian Chinese Tourism Association (MCTA), Mr. Vic Lam, Chief of the Division of Culture, Tourism, MICE, Trade and Commerce of the Economic Development Bureau of the Guangdong-Macao In-Depth Cooperation Zone in Hengqin, and Ms. Karen Lee, Assistant Vice President of Destination Marketing, Brand Development & Marketing of SJM. The guests visited SJM’s booth, which featured Sino-Portuguese cultural elements and took photos with the mascot “Sam the Rooster.”
As the summer travel season approaches, SJM showcased seasonal exclusives at Grand Lisboa Palace Resort Macau to the Malaysian audience. Highlights included summer menus, the debut of “AI Wonderland – A Fun STEM Odyssey” coding classes for kids, indulgent spa treatments, shopping discounts, and promotional packages like the “Joyous Family Package” and the “Palazzo Versace Macau Experience Package.” Many attendees signed up for the SJM Supreme Card, enjoying welcome perks and exclusive benefits.
