Malaysia unveiled its highly anticipated Visit Malaysia 2026 (VM2026) campaign today in a grand ceremony held at Hangar 6, MAB Engineering Complex. The event, officiated by Prime Minister YAB Dato’ Seri Anwar Ibrahim, marked a significant milestone for Malaysia’s tourism industry, featuring the launch of the campaign’s logo, mascot, theme song, and aircraft livery.
The VM2026 logo, symbolising Malaysia’s vibrant culture, breathtaking natural landscapes, and global appeal, represents the nation’s readiness to welcome visitors from around the world. In an unprecedented collaboration, the logo was revealed on the aircraft of Malaysia Airlines, Batik Air, and AirAsia. For the first time, these airlines will integrate the VM2026 branding into their livery, showcasing a united effort to promote Malaysia as a top travel destination.
Adding to the campaign’s allure, the official theme song, “Surreal Experiences,” was premiered at the event. The song captures the essence of Malaysia’s unique attractions, aiming to inspire global audiences with the enchanting experiences the country has to offer.
A proud addition to the campaign is the adoption of the Malayan Sun Bear as the official mascot. Representing Malaysia’s dedication to wildlife conservation, the animated mascot is designed to resonate with all age groups, embodying warmth, joy, and the welcoming spirit of Malaysia.

As a pillar of Malaysia’s National Agenda, the campaign aims to increase tourism revenue, bolster Malaysia’s global tourism competitiveness, and position the sector as a significant contributor to the nation’s GDP. Beyond economic gains, VM2026 aspires to enhance local communities, celebrate Malaysia’s cultural diversity, and stimulate growth across related sectors, including hospitality, transportation, retail, and food.
