Royal Caribbean International is doubling down on Asia with the return of Quantum of the Seas to Singapore for its 2027–28 season, unveiling a range of regional itineraries designed around convenience and multi-destination travel.
Running from October 2027 to March 2028, the deployment introduces 3 to 10 nights sailings that position Singapore as a strategic cruise hub, connecting travellers to key destinations across Malaysia, Thailand, Vietnam, Hong Kong and Japan, all within a single voyage.

Shorter 3-night and 4-night itineraries cater to quick regional escapes, with stops such as Penang and Phuket offering a mix of heritage, food and beach experiences. Mid-range sailings extend further into Thailand, while longer 10-night journeys unlock broader North Asia access, linking Southeast Asia with major cities like Ho Chi Minh City and Hong Kong, and onward to Japan’s Tokyo, Nagoya and Kobe.
The expanded deployment reflects sustained demand for fly-cruise and homeport cruising in Asia, particularly among multi-generational travellers seeking seamless, multi-country itineraries without the need for complex flight planning.

Beyond routing, Quantum of the Seas continues to anchor its appeal in onboard experiences—from high-energy attractions like skydiving simulators and surf decks to diverse dining concepts and large-scale entertainment—supporting Royal Caribbean’s positioning of cruises as all-in-one holiday ecosystems.
With Singapore as the departure and return point, the latest season underscores the city’s role as a key gateway for regional cruise tourism, while reinforcing Asia’s growing importance in global cruise itineraries.
